We collect nothing. No analytics, no ads, no accounts. Every feature — playback, AI subtitles, translation, summaries — runs entirely on your device.
1. Zero Data Collection & Sharing
KenjaPlayer is a privacy-first application that processes everything locally on your device.
- No personal data collection — we do not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal information, identifiers, or usage statistics.
- Local AI processing — all video playback, audio extraction, and AI subtitle generation/translation are processed entirely on your device. None of your media files, audio data, transcribed text, or translation results are ever uploaded to our servers, third-party servers, or any cloud services.
- No telemetry — we do not send any analytics, crash reports, or usage data to external services.
2. Media Server Connections
KenjaPlayer allows you to connect to your self-hosted media servers (such as Jellyfin or Plex).
- Direct connection only — the app communicates directly with servers you configure. We have no intermediary servers and cannot see or access your server credentials or media content.
- Credentials stored locally — your server URLs, usernames, and authentication tokens are stored only on your device and are never transmitted to us or any third party.
3. AI Models
All AI models used for speech recognition and subtitle generation are bundled within the app or provided by the operating system. No model downloads or network connections are required for AI features to function.
4. Third-Party Services
KenjaPlayer does not integrate any third-party analytics SDKs, user tracking tools, telemetry frameworks, or advertising libraries. We do not track your behavior inside the app.
5. Children's Privacy
Since KenjaPlayer does not collect any personal data, we do not knowingly collect, request, or maintain any information from children under the age of 13.
